Father Scott Bailey, Spiritual Advisor

Father Scott was ordained to the Priesthood in 2013. He is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he studied English education and Theater. For four years he was the director of Prayer and Action Denver, a youth missions experience for the Archdiocese of Denver. He currently serves as the priest-secretary to Archbishop Samuel Aquila.


Art Nutter, Chairman of the Board

Art Nutter is married to Katheleen Nutter and father of eight children. He founded TAEUS International Corporation in 1992 as the world’s first engineering company dedicated exclusively to intellectual property. It has since expanded internationally and Art remains as the acting CEO. He is also active on many non-profit Boards.

Art's favorite sport is raquetball.  


Louis Krupp, Board Member

Louis Krupp graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters degree in Accounting. He then went on to pass the Michigan CPA boards and worked for two years as a staff accountant and parish business manager. He then spent three years in the seminary discerning the priesthood. He is in the process of transferring his CPA to Colorado and currently works for EKS&H as an accountant. He is an active volunteer.


Anand Bheemarasetti, Board Member

Anand is a husband to his old campus ministry colleague, Lindsey, and father of two. Anand graduated from Andhra University (India).  He was an IT consultant to various Fortune 500 companies before he quit to join FOCUS as a Marketing Manager and Catholic Missionary. He currently works as a part-time consultant on new business ventures, as well as launching two of his own AskABishop.com, a New Evangelization project, and MaybeMore.com a dating service that promotes virtuous courtship. He is on the marketing committee for Families of Character and the Board of Directors for the International Missionary Foundation.


Dr. Laura Zapapas, M.D., Board Member

Laura was born and raised in Centennial, CO, and grew up playing sports year-round and being active in youth ministry. After college, medical school, and residency, she made her way back home to family and the mountains. She has the best job in the world as a pediatrician at Children's Hospital Colorado in the Emergency Department and Network of Care. She loves football, hiking, biking, spending time with her family, and Jesus.

Paul Spotts, President

Paul received his Associates degree in computer info. sys. from Pikes Peak Community College in 2000. He then went to CU-Boulder where he received his BS degree in Finance. After graduating from CU, he spent 4 years in various ministry positions, mostly with the Fellowship Of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). After leaving FOCUS in 2008, he spent 18 months as an Account Executive at the start of the recession, which helped foster his desire to return to the non-profit world and start Catholic Young Adult Sports in his home, the Archdiocese of Denver.

Nathan Poe, Director of Programs-Southern California

Nathan Poe was born and raised in San Diego County.  While attending Patrick Henry College in northern Virginia, he converted from Evangelical Christianity to Evangelical Catholic Christianity.  He was consequently kicked out of his Protestant college because of his conversion, which gave him the opportunity to relocate to New York City and graduate from The King's College with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.  He lived in Brooklyn and taught high school in Queens for a year before he transitioned back to San Diego.  He was an insurance broker with the Leavitt Insurance Agency when he discerned a call to ministry for young adults through CYAS.
