Nathan Poe, Director of Programs-Southern California

Nathan Poe was born and raised in San Diego County.  While attending Patrick Henry College in northern Virginia, he converted from Evangelical Christianity to Evangelical Catholic Christianity.  He was consequently kicked out of his Protestant college because of his conversion, which gave him the opportunity to relocate to New York City and graduate from The King's College with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.  He lived in Brooklyn and taught high school in Queens for a year before he transitioned back to San Diego.  He was an insurance broker with the Leavitt Insurance Agency when he discerned a call to ministry for young adults through CYAS.
